I have the same trouble with my Cosmos 2 all of a sudden. Have had this phone for 6 months or so and just now has developed this issue. Have to yell with mouth right by microphone to be heard even faintly. I've tried the *228 thing already (roaming updates) and it had no effect. Also tried removing battery (as suggested elsewhere). Very frustrating. Did you ever get this issue resolved?
