Did anyone get an unexpected software update?

My wife turned on her Samsung Convoy this morning, and it downloaded a software update marked free from Verizon, but alluding to some new features. We have not added anything to our plan and getting through to Verizon Wireless on the phone has proved impossible. Has this happened to anyone else?

It was probably just what it said it was, an update to the operating system.

I don't want you to be alarmed with your software update emesss1121! Updates are designed by the manufacturer to improve the performance of the handset. The update will not affect your rate plan or features. I have included a link below for additional information. http://tiny.cc/xs5uow
