Did your LG Terra work in Montego Bay Jamaica?

Just got this phone hoping it will work near Montego Bay Jamaica.  My last LG Exalt , by design, did not.  LG Terra is supposed to work there so please comment on how well your LG worked in Jamaica, or if it failed to work.  Thanks.

Thanks, I understand the international calling plans but I was asking a more pointed question.  I'm sorry I wasn't more clear.  Is there anyone out there who has used an LG Terra while travelling in Jamaica who called back to the USA?  Please describe your call quality in a call back to the USA..
