How do I reset a locked LG Extravert 2?

My son has an LG Extravert 2. He got creative and set up a lock code he can't remember. I need help resetting the phone as I can't get to the menus! Verizon online and dial up support are no help. Verizon store is no help. LG support is no help...

If he doesn't remember there's nothing "almost" you can do. There was a time you could get the software reflashed in a corporate store. See if a store with a tech can do it. LG "may" be able to as well. I would call them. Granted you'd be without the phone for a few weeks. Other than that, is there an older phone you can activate on that line?
