I don't know how long you had the phone but most early versions of Gusto 3 will not allow more then alphabetical order for contact changes.

Thanks for the reply.  I got the phone last week to replace an LG that failed. The default sort on the Samsung seems to be by first in.  I'd like it to be by name, same as every other phone I've had.

I don't see a command to sort alphabetically.
