How do I unlock my Pantech Hotshot?

My son has locked his phone & I need to know do I take it in to a Verizon store or could we do this at home?

You can try removing the battery while the phone is on, wait a few minutes, then reinsert the battery and restart the phone.  If that doesn't reset it, you may need to take it in.
