How do I use a voice memo as a ringtone for a contact on the LG COSMOS2?

Can anyone please help, I am at my witts end trying to get this to work on my husbands phone! We created a voice memo and he wants to add it to my contact information as a ringtone, we tried to do it and it still rings with the default tone!!! UGGGHHHH so annoying
