LG Cosmos 2 will not receive media messages

My daughter can receive and send text messages, but no pictures or sound.  I have made sure she is unblocked, that there are no restrictions, and have taken the battery out and reset her phone, all to no avail.

When you called Verizon and they confirmed there were no blocks did they have any suggestions? Mary

Was that a hard reset?  Mms needs data so there can't be any blocks and vzw may need to provision the network

My husband just got this phone and he has the data block that you set up in your account under block services. He has both block all data services ticked and block mobile web and he can still send and receive picture messages. Here is what is says under block all data services or are you talking about another kind of block? If I was the poster I would walk into a Verizon store and tell them picture messaging is not working and see what they say. Mary

"Note: Block All Data Services will not block Picture and Video Messages (MMS), Backup Assistant or My Verizon Mobile (when already downloaded) because data charges don\'t apply when using these services. Block All Data Services does not cancel any subscriptions to data services (such as VZ Navigator) you may already have. Any applications requiring data for usage (other than Backup Assistant and My Verizon Mobile) will no longer function. To prevent billing for any other subscription applications previously downloaded, please cancel them before proceeding."
