My phone does not send or receive texts in the past hour

Every text I have tried to send fails immediately. i have shut the phone off and took the battery out and in. customer service is terrible i can't reach them at all on the phone. calls work fine but texting is completely shot. whats up with this?

I am having the same problem on the phones on my account. I can still call and access the net tho. seems weird!!!

one of the phones on my account is having the same problem, will receive or send texts other wise its functioning normal

I was texting fine til 2:15 EST and all of a sudden I couldn't send any more. Can't get thru to customer service!!!

you would think they could. I've been on hold for like 40 minutes with someone and the phone and the person on live chat is also taking forever

Yep, here too. Chicago suburbs, 630 area code, old LG feature phone.

Must be a Verizon outage of some sort but it'd be nice if they told us...

same problem, living in ct, wonder if they'll fix it. my mom myself and some friends are having the same issue.
