Does this forum ever have anyone that participates with an answer?
Nope. Never.
Actually, most questions get answered fairly quickly. Questions in the Basic Phones forum are usually harder to answer since there are fewer and fewer people using those types of phones.
I participate with a large number of questions and answers. To answer your present question, yes. I actually follow the Basic Phones space, but I don't see where you have posted another question previous to this one. What might we be able to assist you with?
I did not post my question as a similar question was posted and unanswered. In fact, all of the posted questions were unanswered.
My question is: How can I download photos from my Motorola Entice flip phone to my computer without a USB cable? I have a USB cable for my Verizon Tablet, but don't know if that would be compatible. If nothing else, could I send the photos in a message to someone who has a smartphone and have them download to a computer? I realize that Verizon might say " why don't you upgrade to a smartphone?, However, my old Entice has been a great phone and I hate to part with it and deal with all of the apps on a smartphone.
Thank you for any suggestions
Yes, you can email the photos to yourself or send as a message to someone else, though the quality of the pic might be reduced because of constraints on file size in messaging. I know some people love to stick to basic phones, but I know the market is getting slim with new models and their prices aren't too far removed from some lower-end smartphones nowadays, plus the plans for smartphones are all of $5-10 more for smartphones now, and also given that used smartphones can be had on the cheap nowadays is appealing to some folks on the fence.
You should be able to connect a micro USB cable to your Entice since it has a micro-USB port and the other end into your computer and download the pictures directly. Give it a shot, you can't break it.

Here are a few ways:
Bluetooth, if the phone and computer are capable (the phone is)
Text message each photo to your email address and retrieve it on the computer
Text message to someone with a smartphone to download to the computer (as you suggested)
Get a micro SD card (the phone supports up to an 8GB card), move the photos to the card and then use an adapter to move the photos to your computer.
If you CAN find a USB cable with a connector that is compatible, that would be the most direct; next best is the SD card option.
Thanks Suzy Q, I'll try your suggestions.
Thanks for the response RushFan2112. I tried with the cable and set both the phone and computer (Windows 10) to Blue Tooth discovery mode, but the phone cannot find the computer. I'll try the micro card route.
