I received a text from Verizon today informing me that the VCAST Song ID application will be discontinued in June. The message suggested I use in8 iD instead, but that looks like it is for smartphones only. I have an enV2. What options do I have for song identification (get a new phone is not an option)? Browsing the apps from my phone, the only thing I saw was Shazam, which has a $1.99 subscription fee, which I assume is a monthly charge. I really like being able to ID songs from my phone, but I'm not willing to pay anything on top of my current phone bill to do so.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Matt
