Problems moving pictures from computer to Extravert 2

Just upgraded to an LG Extrovert 2 and purchased a micro SD card so I could add photos from my computer.  On the phone display the pictures are  showing as  negatives however in the file on the SD card they look fine.  Any ideas on how to fix.  I have already tried powering down the phone and removing battery.

Did you format the new SD card for the Extrovert before pasting the photos to the card. The new card must be formatted to the phone's file system to work or you will have problems.
