Ravine won't connect manually dialed numbers

Friend has a Ravine phone and at times it won't connect to manually dialed numbers. Speed dialed numbers connect but if that same number is entered manually it does not work. ???

Are they dialing the full ten digits of the phone number?

 I couldn't find a place to reply on on Verizon's page so I will reply this way.

It must be a Verizon network thing. I watched him dial it yesterday and it did not go through. Today I watched him dial the same number and it connected. I did not try my phone when he was having problems, I should have as it might tell us more. I will next time if it happens again.

We certainly want your friend’s phone to work as intended and be able to make calls regardless of how a number is dialed, Kartracer99. Please ensure that your friend dials a 10 digit number (area code plus phone number) when dialing manually. Keep us posted.
