Samsung Intensity II--people cannot hear me during a phone call.

I can make and receive phone calls, but people cannot hear me very well at all.  I have to yell into the phone for people to be able to hear me.  They said that I sound like I am in a well or very far away.  Anyone have some ideas.  Really makes my phone useless and I have had it only 1 year.

Hi there Rkirkend!

I definitely don't want your phone to be useless and you can't always be screaming at your phone!  I will be delighted to provide some suggestions.

First, if you have a case, ensure it's not covering the mic of the phone.

Next, try pulling the battery out of the phone while it's still turned on. Leave it out for about 10 seconds and reassemble the phone.

Dial *228-send and choose option 1 to reactivate your phone.
