I was able to download it from my Pantech Jest onto my computer, however when I plug my phone in the Software Update assistant program does not list my phone in the program as if it can't find it. Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?
make sure you have a driver for the phone
go to pantechs website and see if ther eis one
I have the driver for the phone installed on my computer but it still can't be found.

May I ask what software you are attempting to upgrade on your Pantech Jest? If you have the original Jest, you should have version D8040VWB151H.148 on the device.
If you have the Jest 2, you should have W8045VWC291F.312 .
The reason I ask, is because as of right now, the only devices that work with the Software Update Assistant tool are Lucid by LG™ and Spectrum by LG™. In the near future, the SUA Tool may be available for more devices.
It should also only be used if you are not able to update the software Over the Air.
