Where Can I Find The Underscore Button On My Device?

I am try to put an email address into my contact name.  How do I find or get an underscore?

This is posted in Basic phones, and the most likely place to find the underscore is using T9 or multitap and the number 1 key... it will go through punctuation and then common symbols.
