Why Can't I Access My Voice Mail?

When we try to use shortcut keys for voicemail, we get the following message:  Welcome to Verizon Wireless.  Your call cannot be completed as dialed.  Please check the number please check the number and dial again.

Are you using *86?  Try dialing in using your full 10-digit number.  If you are in an extended network area, or outside your home area, *86 will not work.
