Why wont my LG extrovert recognize a new samsung 64 GB SD card? works in computer but not in phone. I tried turning phone off, removing battery, etc. etc. When I check memory card setting it says no card installed.

Thanks, just looked up on LG website to find it only supports a 32 GB
card. Would have been nice for the info in the phone instructions to say
that!
Thanks!

Your phone may not support the format of the card. Did you make sure it is fat32? Did you try a different story card in your phone?
Thanks, I didn't see anywhere in the LG info that said it needed to be a fat32. The package for the card does not say fat32, so.... I guess not. It is a Samsung EVO micro SDXC UHS-1.
Those cards are eXfat format so they won't work in all devices. They reformatting using fat32 and see if the phone recognize the card.

The phone might not support that large of a SD card either.
