backup assistant hangs

I just activated the phone and when I try to use backup assistant to download my contacts it just hangs. It does this when I try to go into Apps or Search. Any ideas?

Ok since nobody had any answers I figured out how to get it going.

I had to reset it back to factory settings and reactivate it, now everything works fine.

Hope this helps someone that is having similar issues.
