My Motorola Moto W755 will not receive or make call out of my area code? How do I fix that I have a global plan

Are you dialing the full 10-digit number at all times, in or out of your area code? Are you contacts listed with the full 10-digit number?   "Global" has nothing to do with calling outside your area code unless you are out of the country.  All calls to US numbers are considered domestic, and you should be able to reach them by dialing the full 10 digit number.
