phone wont charge please help

my samsung reality (sch-u370) recently got this problem i go to plug it in and it says stop charging battery temperature is too low its never had this problem before and i dont have a spare battery to try my contract ends in 2 weeks should i just buy a new battery off the internet or wait 2 weeks ?

tryed 5 different chargers and i tried cleaning the contacts still no dice

tried that it got wet the other day i forgot to mention and i dried it in a bag of rice the phone worked just fine until i tried to plug it in to charge and it gave me the battery temperature is too low message which makes no sense what so ever

Ya fried something internally once ya added juice to the equation. Knowing about the water issue would have had me offer a this answer initially.
