samsung haven keeps receiving a repeat text

When I get a text message and reply to it then all the texts come back with the same text even though the sender is writing something else.  Any trouble shooting ideas?

I can see where that might make it tough to keep up with a conversation. When did this start happening? Is it with all new messages or just certain contacts? Have you tried deleting some of your old messages?
