why am I getting fb messages sent to my lg cosmo? how do I stop them? I asked a rep. at a Verizon store & they said they never had seen this happen before.

Let's ensure these facebook messages cease! Typically this occurs if you're phone number is provided in Facebook setting. You may disable by heading to the "Mobile Settings" page within Facebook http://www.facebook.com/mobile/?settings once there Click off in the Facebook Text Messages field then save preferences at the bottom of page. You may also text Off to the number that sent you the message. You will then get a message stating "Facebook text are now off"
