Who I have the same questioned this topic

I just upgraded to a Google pixel and everything was going well until I could no longer text my wife.  I can receive all of her texts but none of mine will go through.  The odd part is if I send a group message with her added, she gets the message no problem.  This problem is only with her.  She has an I phone but so do half of the people I text.  It should be a network issue because were in the same area, on the same account.  I contacted google and went through their trouble shooting steps with no luck so now I'm reaching out her as to why this is happening.

For the trouble shooting I have:

restarted the phone

taken the sim card out to make sure it wasn't damage

reset the network

checked for updates

I use the installed messenger so there shouldn't be any 3rd party issues.

I haven't done a factory reset,and would like to avoid that because I don't think that will fix whatever this issue is.

any suggestions????
