Can I disable incoming calls & text while playing music...?

I'm looking for a way to disable incoming phone calls and text messages while playing music. Is there a way to set the music player so that any incoming calls just go to voicemail, incoming texts just get saved without interupting the music player...?

I guess one way to achieve that is to put the phone in aiplane mode.  All the radios would be off and you would get the voicemail and message whenever you turn off airplane mode.
