Setting default discovery mode ON

Is there a way to set the default discovery mode to ON (forever) vs the one minute default on an LG VN370? Trying to find a way to have the phone automatically reconnect to the car (Bluetooth) vs having to turn on discovery mode every time I get in the car. TIA

Making sure you can easily connect your phone is a big deal. Having to go through discovery mode every time can take a lot of time. Discovery mode is limited ot 60 seconds but discovery mode should only be needed with most Bluetooth devices the first time you pair with them. Once they pair, if both have Bluetooth turned on they should connect when in range.

 

What happens if you just go into the menu under settings & tools>bluetooth menu and press the left soft key to turn that on? What devices are listed there?
