Why does my S6 freezes up, powers off and restarts?

I have a Galaxy S6 that freezes up, powers off and restarts. It started doing it occassionally, then more often, now almost daily. It now will restart, go to main screen then lock up, power off and will not restart now. Any suggestions to get it up and running? Other than obvious get a new phone lol.
