Resetting my phone will Froyo automatically be there?

I am having some issues with my phone and I am wondering if I have to manually DL froyo or will it automatically detect it for my phone or area? I got it a few weeks ago. Or does anyone know where I can go to get it? I am sure that I have to go to a web site or can it be done by OTA? Please help..

When you do a factory reset what ever OS is on your phone will be on your phone. It will not downgrade you at all.

How hard is it to install the update? Can I take it to verizon to have them do it?

ok good. Thanks a lot. Thats what I was asking in orevious posts but no one seemed to understand what I was saying. I was assumming that I had to re-install it once I did the reset. Thank you so much.

my phone has been resetting and getting hung up after the download. I end up having to pull the battery. It stinks

I would do a master reset.
