how do i disable the tips that pop up?

Since a recent update I get these annoying tips that pop up about how to conserve battery life once my battery reaches 25%. Or if i mute my phone, it asks me if i still want to receive calls. Is there a way to disable these annoying pop ups? There is no "do not show again" button.

I found out what it was. It was the Peel Remote app.

I'm sorry to hear about trouble with your phone, JOEKLE82. I know that would bother me as well. When this happens, is there any new icon up at the top of the phone in the status bar? Any application or service name that shows on the screen when these prompts occur?
