My Droid X just died

I was texting and it went blank.

Ive tried taking the battery out and reinstalling it. That didnt help.

When the power cord is hooked up, it shows that its charging (90%)

When the power cord isnt hooked up, the screen is completely black and no buttons work.

Any ideas ?

Service outtage ?

fixed, did a hard reset. that was weird

For the record, I experiance the same exact thing and the only way I could get it working again was to hard reset also, glad I backup regurlar... Later I thought about it and it seemed that it may have been from a app that I installed. because I installed a number of updates but didnt restart until later in the day.
