Galaxy S7 doesn't work in data mode

A couple days ago my phone stopped working (can't access Internet, Maps...) when in data mode. WiFi works fine. With WiFi off and data on there are no connections. At tiop of phone there are "bars" but the small 4G icon no longer lights. How can I regain access using data?

I know how important data access has become to daily life. I don't want you to be without it for another second. Did you change any of the settings on your device recently? Are you able to make calls or send picture messages? Have you restarted your device since this began?
