How do I erase everything from Samsung SCH-u540

I plan on selling my old Samsung SCH-u540 but want to first erase all the numbers/setting/etc from it. How do I do this?

Hope the person buying knows it will be useless after Dec 31 2019 and it can't be activated on Verizon's network after July 1st this year.
