youtube to gmail

Google and youtube have merged and now you need to sign into youtube with a google account. The incredible has a preset youtube as an app. How do you change the username on the app to sign in with a gmail address username? How do you change the username on the app?

i don't have to sign in to use youtube??? it just opens up. however, yuo can open youtube, then touch menu, then "my account" and it prompts you for a username and password. don't know if this is what you're asking?
