Android Version of Verizon Voice Mail

When I first got the phone (Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge) when I received a new voicemail I was shown the number of new messages. It no longer does this and now the voice mail program is basically worthless unless you actually hit the icon button to see if you have any new messages.

Any kind person know how to fix what I consider a major flaw in the program?

Voicemail is one of the great features you have with Verizon Wireless. Let's make sure we get yours working again. Are you stating that you do not get notified of a new message? Are other people able to leave you messages, but you are unaware unless you open the application? How long has it been like this?

Others can leave me a voice mail however I would never know without opening

voice mail up. The voice mail icon does Not show the number of new

messages. My original S7 Edge worked OK but I had to get a replacement and

it has never worked since. I also can't make changes for example of the

ringer tone but the change never sticks. Think it is time for a X10 yet?

We know that having a functioning voicemail, is essential to a fully working phone. Did any of your issues start after an update? If not, do you have any updates available to your device?

Actually I think it may have started when I had to exchange my original S7

(the battery got hot and almost exploded the screen). I think I have had

voice mail and trying to save settings I changed since we I got the

replacement.
