I received my Incredible via FedEx on the 5th of this month. I have heard that some of these devices have the AMOLED screen, whereas some have standard LCD screens. How do I tell which I have?

Check to varify it is an HTC incredible.
If so, it is AMOLED!!!!!!
(hint: HTC is not making Incredible with SLCD screens at this time. There is no plan to make them in the immediate future)
Got it. Thanks for the enthusiastic reply. Just figured I'd ask given some of the information I've heard.
they were just rumors based on the screen shortage. htc and vzn would've had to change A LOT of marketing/specs, etc if they wanted to go that route. but, to be honest, if it were the alternative screen....you or i would never know....lol. to the average user, you can't tell unless you hold them side by side and compare.
It was more than a rumor. HTC actually came out and said they were looking into it to help with the backorder. However, since they have announced 2 other phones will use SLCD. For now, Incredible wont. That COULD change, but last we heard, not now!
