Is there a 64 bit solution? or other program that works for this? Is it even neccessary?

Are you talking about the MOTO / Windows utility that your X will launch when prompted upon USB connection?
If so, it launches w/o any issues on my Win7 64bit. You shouldnt have to download any special drivers either.
I personally use Media Manager daily to synch my device. Mostly for pics and videos. For music I use Media Player or just drag and drop from explorer.
Which operating system are you running?
