How to figure out why my phone is sending me alerts

My Samsung Galaxy s9+ Is sending me alerts that sounds like a train whistle but I can’t figure out who or why.

settings/alerts....select which alerts you want!!

Wow we have the S7 edge and can not get an alert for emergency. Have you tried doing a search in settings for whistle and see if it can find this sound and what it is associated to?

Hello, SUZANNE882, I know I already get a lot of notifications throughout the day so I can only imagine what it must be like to get notifications that aren't clear. A great start to finding out where the train whistle notification is coming from would be to go to Settings > Notifications > And turn off any Application you do not need alerts for. If the notification continues, you will need to turn off the remaining notifications one at a time.
