Email question

I have a pop email setup and I have the setting checked to delete email from the server. everything is working except for one issue.....After getting emails throughout the day when I get home at night I open the email on my laptop and after that they are all deleted from my phone. I want them to stay on the phone until I delete them. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? I still want to be able to delete on my phone and have them deleted from the server but if I dont delete from the phone I want them to stay there.

not sure that it can be done. is there a reason that you want them deleted from the server? i know i had to leave them on the server or as soon as i pulled them at home they disappeared. i don't know much about this stuff.....just that i had to uncheck that option to get it to leave them on my phone?????

Hi Meg,

I have been having the very same problem. However, I am not even having my Droid Incredible delete email messages from the server. All my old email disappeared from my inbox, and it seems as if new email will simply vanish from my inbox at certain times of the day. This has been very frustrating. I called 611 and spoke with a couple of technicians, but it is unknown when this issue will be fixed. You may want to check the posts I made to another thread as others have had similar problems.
