Remove Sound Swipe on first screen?

I have my phone set for vibration all the time.  From time to time, I accidentally touch the sound swipe icon on the very first screen (the one that also has the lock swipe to get into the phone apps).  This resets the phone ringer to sound.  Very frustrating!

 

Is there any way to remove this Sound Swipe icon from the first screen?

I don't think that there's a way to remove the "swipe", but if you open the phone and set the volume to "very low" if you accidentally swipe the sound back on it will still be "very quite".

I also have mine set to vibrate almost all the time, and to make sure that my phone vibrates when I want it to I've changed many of the notifications vibration setting to "always" rather than the default of when sound is off.
