I never even realized this would be an issue now days. But it seems those (like myself) who use high brightness are risking images permanently burning into the screen. Really is a shame, since I never saw a warning regarding this, there is no warning on the sliding brightness scale (only warns of other things), and hadn't heard anyone discuss it.
So now I'll likely have to request a replacement from Samsung, a refurbished one that may have a history of defects, since I have clear images burned into mine.
