Verizon Messages App on Windows 10 doesn't stay synced with my App on my phone? Why?

I have been using Verizon Messages for quite some time on my PC. When I first start the app it will sync up the messages received while it wasn't running, however it will leave some missing for some reason. It will work good for a while but after a while it will stop receiving messages and when I go to use it I have to try all sorts of things to get it to sync up again. Whats the problem?

I have re-installed the app on the PC. And I do use Verizon Messages on my phone. It's just like the app goes to sleep or something. My computer is on always, never goes into sleep mode. But the app after it sits for quite a few hours or overnight just stops syncing messages at some point. Usually it takes me either restarting the app or scrolling through several conversations and then all the sudden it will sync up again. however sometimes there are messages that are missing on my PC that are on my phone.

JEFMAR75, thanks for the additional details. I totally understand why you want to get all of your messages on the PC and not just some. Let's look further into why this is happening. Does your applications store have any available updates for Verizon Messages? When you open the application, tap the three lines in the top left corner, tap Settings, is Sync Over Wi-Fi Only selected?

I have the same issue as well.

I installed the Message+ app from Microsoft Store on 2 PCs. I have it on my Android phone as well.

it used to be the case that reading a text on any device would correctly mark it as read on other devices as well.

it is not happening anymore. while each device do get a copy of an incoming text, it keeps the status as unread until I actually read it again on that specific device. so pretty much I have to go to 3 different device and read each text 3 times.
