Droid X Does Not Display "Accounts & Sync Settings" in Settings - Just Accounts

I downloaded Google Calendar Sync and entered the Gmail account information. I slected 2-way sync & set sync intervals and Saved it. The sync to Google account Calendar occurred OK.

However, on the Droid X in Settings, I expected Accounts & Sync Settings but only Accounts is visible. Also, there is no Sync Calendar check box in the Gmail account display on the Droid X I have.

This is very frustrating.

Try Data manager under Settings.

"Accounts" is all you will see in the"settings". Once there, you should see your gmail account. Tap that and you should see "mail", "contacts", and "calenders" with a place sure a checkmark beside each choice.

To manually sync everything, press the hard button on the bottom left and you should see a "sync now" button at the bottom of the screen. Pressing that will, well, manually sync those items.

Are you not seeing any of this?

Pull out the Power Control widget under Google widets

Toggle (data) Synchronization on (second right button).

I have the same problem with mine. Under Accounts I can go to gmail but only thing there to "check" off to sync is email...no calendar option. :smileysad:

WAIT...just found it...you have to go to google account, not gmail account, though both IN gmail. That has place to check calendar.
