What happened to charging after last system update?

Right after the update I placed the phone on the wireless charger. It would not connect. I adjusted the phone severl times it would connect then disconnect! Frustrated I removed the cord from the charging pad and plugged it in. Phone started charging but only for about 5 or 10 minutes. Then the same issue started the charging would connect and disconnect even with several different cables!

Phone is at 79% right now, it was at 94 before the update!

What is the fix??

Help has arrived! A software update is supposed to enhance the phone, not hinder. Let’s figure this out, as I want for you to have the ability to use your wireless charger. Do you have a case/cover on your phone? If so, please remove it to see if the phone will charge with the case/cover off.  What happens if you use another outlet? If you try another outlet, does that change things?
