transfer samsung a670 photos

I have a old deactivated Samsung A670 that I need to get some old photos off of. I have the USB cord however when I connect to my PC, it doesn't recognize the phone as anything. I thought simply by having the cord, pulling it into my PC and just grabbing the pics as if the phone was a storage device would have been enough...alas it is not. I would appreciate any assistance on this as Google only has posts from 10+ years ago when the phone actually would have still been active.

Transferring pictures from an old phone to your PC is a must, GrammyZippo. Sadly, the Samsun A670 doesn’t support USB transfer from the device to your home computer. Typically, only a smart phone is only able to become a storage device to transfer photos in this manner. Do you know if you previously backed up these photos from this device? Do you see these photos when you review your Verizon Cloud content?
