Care Packages

A few of my friends, all across the United States, have been receiving a Droid X care/thank you package. It includes a T-shirt, sticker, and some coupons. Any one else getting these and does anyone know if we all will be getting them? Is there a rhyme or reason to who they are going out to? I bought my X on launch day at my local corp Verizon store.

I've seen in other postings that people who purchased the Droid X on launch day received a package with the same contents you mentioned. I don't think we all will get them. It seems like it's limited to those who were the very first to purchase the phone.

I ordered mine on Launch day and received it in the mail on 7/16, the next morning. I have not gotten a "care package" though.

I waited in line for 3 hours, was 4th in line at the store and haven't received anything... No worries tho... I have the Droid X and I LOVE IT!!! I am continually blown away by new features and abilities all the time!!!

Ordered mine on line on launch day and got the package today. Descent t-shirt, ok sticker, and coupons. The coupons are for $25 off any droid. you are supposed to give them out to friends and family.. There is one coupon for 25% off any droid accesory. I already got the desk dock, car dock, HDMI cable and got discounts on all of them already. I might go for an extra battery and get the discount.

That's great, nice of Verizon to do that, guess a bit of a thank you for buying the X.

However, what would be the best care package Verizon could get to us is the "2.2 UPDATE" to hopefully get rid of all these "LITTLE ANNOYING BUGS!"

Fantastic phone if we could only get that to happen!

I purchased my Droid X first thing in the morning (well, after waiting on line for an hour or two) on 7/15 at a Verizon corporate store. And I bought every accessory and ordered almost every service available for the phone. However, no care package for me. I did forget to mail in the rebate forms/material in time to receive the rebate. Could not mailing in the rebate be part of the reason I did not receive the care package? I easily could have been one of the first few (in the low percentages) of people who purchased the phone - but still not care package for me. I certainly would not mind receiving one - especially for the accessory coupons/discounts/codes that seem to come with it.

I was the first person in my little town to get an X (had the first appt at 7 AM but still stood in line for an hour "just in case") and I didn't get anything....

I'll keep hoping that its on its way....but I got the best anyway --- MY DROID X....
