What kind (model/software version) of phone do you have? Have you looked thru the user manual for settings or advanced settings? Is the email going to your Verizon account email address? What does the email say?

Is it sending an email? If so, to what account?

Do you mean instead an auto-reply message? You might only need to go up through step 3.

Set Up an Auto Reply Message

Mobile Device

To set up Auto-Reply in Verizon Messages (Message+) version 5.6 or newer on your phone or tablet:

Tap the Navigation Menu icon in the top-left corner.
Tap Auto Reply.
Tap the Auto Reply switch to turn it on or off.
Tap Add a New Message to write your own auto reply message.
Enter your auto reply message and tap Save.
Select a date to turn off your auto reply message.
Tap Start.
