How do I stop my text messages from also being forwarded to my email?

I've tried everything i can think of! Every time a text message arrives on Message+, it also appears in my email. I need it to stop!

There is a setting in the email application that allows you to sync your text messages to the email application. Find it and turn it off.

chances are folks with i-phones are sending you a message but it's being sent to your email address too, along with your phone number..
