I have a Samsung Gusto 3. When I receive a long text message, I can't read it because it has numbers, symbols, garbage. Please help.

Are you unable to read a specific text message from a contact or does this happen on multiple messages? Can you please clarify what you mean by “garbage” that is located in the text messages?

I asked the sender of a similarly garbled message I got and discovered that they had used a few emojis in their text to me. That garbles the entire message since this phone is not able to decipher emojis.
