Moto Z cannot connect to WiFi... it sees WiFi, won't stay connected

Moto Z will not completely connect to WiFi... it sees WiFi.... then says it is disabled... done everything that I could find to do, but a factory reset... started with the battery draining rapidly... once I turn off the WiFi... battery holds a charge for most of the day...
