When should I expect my Droid Incredible?

I ordered it at my local Verizon Store last Friday, and the sales rep told me the shipping date was August 2nd, and that, with overnight shipping, I should expect it August 3rd. However he said it may arrive early, but that's not for sure. If anyone has any experience with this, when should I expect my Droid Incedible? Thanks. Ohh, and I haven't recieved an e-mail or any notifications about it, should I have gotten something?

I wouldn't count on it coming early with the popularity of the phone. Mine was shipped exactly the day they quoted to me. Well worth the wait tho!

ok sounds good, thanks. Now, I haven't gotten anything to confirm when it will ship or anything from Verizon and I checked online and it doesn't say I have upgraded yet. Will that update once I get my phone and activate it?

once fedex picks up your device from the wharehouse, you can get a tracking number. also once that happens, if you call the *611 (or #611??) and you will here a message that says you have a device waiting for activation. but until fedex picks it up to ship, NOBODY at vzn can tell you for sure when. see the GIANT thread about the incredible ship date on this forum. it's very helpful to follow when people ordered vs. when they got shipping info.

I ordered online on 7/21-I received my email today saying that my order was shipped. I should have my phone by Friday!
